Kim has been teaching dance classes in the Perth Metropolitan area for the past 18 years in Ballroom and Latin American styles. Classes are fun and enjoyable, if you attend with your partner, you dance with your partner, learning the techniques of the different styles in a supportive atmosphere. Classes are not large and you have plenty of support and encouragement from your instructor.
Classes for social dancers are held at the Wembley Community Centre covering the most popular dances such as Waltz, Slow Rhythm, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive. Samba and social Tango are also added in the more advanced classes and New Vogue and fun sequence dances are also taught.
If you are without a dance partner, Solo dancing classes are becoming more and more popular. These classes are lots of fun and improve balance, co-ordination and muscle strength. Classes run during the daytime are various venues in Perth. Afternoon Tea dances are also held once a month with prizes, dancing and socialising! These events are a great way to meet new people in the community.
