Gilkisons Beginners Level 1,2,3 Classes are designed for those who have not danced before or for those in need of a refresher. Covering popular dances that will enable you to perform confidently on the dance floor.

Beginners Level 1,2,3 Classes.

Dances taught are…CHA CHA, WALTZ, JIVE, SLOW RHYTHM, RUMBA, BARN DANCE, PROGRESSIVE JIVE, MERENGUE

They are popular dances that will enable you to perform confidently on the dance floor
at any wedding, cabaret, social dance or club.for beginner ballroom & latin dancers, goes on to teach Slow Rhythm, Waltz, Quick Step/Cha Cha, Rhumba, Samba, Swing Jive.

After the introduction to Beginner Level 1, the next development is the Level 2 Course. Now that you are a little more confident on the dance floor and know more than just walking to music, the Beginner Level 2 Course teaches extra variations in the… CHA CHA, WALTZ, JIVE, RUMBA It also introduces the SAMBA, EVENING 3 STEP and QUICKSTEP

After the Beginner Level 2 Course, next in our program is the Level 3 Course. Technique and style are introduced into this course, with more variations in the… CHA CHA, WALTZ, JIVE, QUICKSTEP, RUMBA, SAMBA Also an introduction to MAYFAIR QUICKSTEP and TANGO

One Lesson held each week between 7:30pm – 8:30pm, followed by an included social dance

Each term runs for 6 weeks, including public holidays
